Bowling Green, Kentucky is a city with a population of 62,500 people it is the third most populated city in Kentucky after Louisville and Lexington. The combined areas of its metropolitan area with neighboring Glasgow has an estimated population of just over 222,000 people.
Bowling Green was founded by pioneers in 1798 and was the provisional capital of the confederate Kentucky during the American Civil War.
